Job Description: The GB Implementation Team is responsible for onboarding new Group Benefits Clients and managing existing Clients’ major plan changes by employing project management skills, processes, and methodology. They work in partnership with Clients, advisors, Business Development, and all internal stakeholders to deliver value-added benefits and superior service.

Reporting to the Manager, GB Implementation, the Group Benefits Implementation Project Manager joins a team of innovative and dynamic individuals who strive to provide exceptional Client service. This role involves representing Sun Life professionally in client-facing meetings and driving value for clients and plan members. Strong relationship management skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining and managing project scope
• Creating and maintaining detailed project timelines
• Leading all project phases from initiation to closure
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather client requirements
• Managing changes, risks, issues, and actions
• Maintaining client and advisor relationships
• Communicating project updates effectively
• Leading multi-site project teams
• Representing Sun Life at finalist presentations

Qualifications:

• Bilingualism (French and English) required for Quebec
• Experience with Group Benefits products, services, and systems
• Minimum 2 years of experience with internal and external partners
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Client-centric approach and positive attitude

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• PMP or similar certification
• GBA or CEBS designation
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Ability to travel as required

Salary range: $58,000 - $97,000. The role is full-time, based in Canada, with potential for flexible work arrangements.
