Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or related Finance role.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential.

Job Description :

What will you work on?

The Senior AP Administrator plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function. This position is responsible for handling the payment function for North America, reconciling vendor accounts, maintaining AP reports, and assisting with the administration of key AP sub-systems. Reporting to the Sr. AP Manager, the Sr. AP Administrator works closely with the AP team and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a smooth end-to-end payment process.

How will you create impact?

  • Jointly managing weekly payment runs and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing in line with company policies.
  • Assist with Global payment review for accuracy and consolidation.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly AP KPI reporting
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies or outstanding issues.
  • Support the administration of the corporate credit card program.
  • Responsible for Concur reporting and support the maintenance of the SAP Concur expense reporting tool, including user access and Concur related enquiries
  • Supporting the internal and external audit process by compiling accurate documentation and explanations
  • Perform AP month-end close activities including AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, etc.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, including SOPs and job aids related to payment functions.
  • Support payment related testing during system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with AP-related data clean-up, validation, and reporting during ERP transitions or process improvements.
  • Liaise with Procurement, Treasury, and other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
  • Provide ad hoc support as needed.

What are your skills and experience?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or a related Finance role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic data analysis).
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur and corporate credit card administration is a strong asset.
  • Solid understanding of AP processes including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.
