We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Collections Specialist to join our Finance team at our Toronto location.

Job Description:

As a Senior Collections Specialist at Enzo Logistics, you will play a critical role in developing customer relationships and collecting invoice payments in a timely manner. You will be self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 

Proactively contact clients with outstanding AR balances and promptly respond to inquiries from both our Canadian and US offices.

Ensure accurate and timely application of payments and credits.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve collection issues effectively.

Conduct collections calls to address early and late-stage accounts, negotiating solutions to bring accounts current.

Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, providing detailed reconciliations, resolving disputes, and processing payments and refunds.

Cultivate professional relationships with customers to promote healthy payment practices and enhance the overall customer experience.

Recommend appropriate actions for accounts with persistent non-payment, including liaising with Credit and Sales departments as needed.

Requirements: 

Minimum 4-5 years Collections experience. 

University degree or College diploma in an accounting-related field is required.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software (experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
