Position Title: Senior Officer Credit

Position Overview
The Senior Officer Credit is responsible for processing and underwriting new credit applications and renewals of existing credit lines in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring optimal customer service and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and existing loans, including enhancement applications, by developing comprehensive credit proposals for presentation to approving authorities, ensuring compliance with credit policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of creditworthiness, analyzing financial data, customer profiles, and borrowing needs.
- Determine appropriate loan terms based on financial assessments and market conditions, and make recommendations.
- Assign credit ratings to portfolios based on borrower creditworthiness and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve credit underwriting processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management, adapting to changes in policies, industry best practices, and risk strategies.
- Manage timely renewal of loans, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Review reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) prepared by credit administration and follow up with customers/branches for account regularization.
- Conduct annual reviews of the loan portfolio to ensure successful renewals, including real estate financing.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with credit underwriting, ensuring effective implementation of credit risk policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly, maintaining professional relationships, and coordinating with lawyers and inspectors as needed.
- Assist the Team Lead and Head of Credit with other credit-related projects and assignments.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of credit processing and underwriting experience at a bank.
