Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst for a 1-year contract in downtown Calgary. The role involves owning the full-cycle AP, resolving complex invoice, PO, or reconciliation issues, and troubleshooting automated workflows. Requires 5+ years in AP, SAP experience, and strong analytical skills.

The position is in-office, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $33.00–$45.00 per hour. Opportunity for extension based on performance.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Post-secondary education in finance and accounting.
• Experience with 2-way and 3-way matching, PO processing, GR/IR, and reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to interpret AP dashboards and KPIs; troubleshoot automated invoice workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable including validation, coding, processing, and reconciliations.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching; resolve PO, pricing, and tax issues.
• Maintain AP queues and follow up on aging/workflows.
• Assist month-end and year-end tasks, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Run AP dashboards and KPIs; serve as escalation resource for AP matters.
• Resolve employee expense and policy issues.

Our client is looking to hire an 'Account Analyst' (Senior AP Analyst) for their finance team. This person will own the full-cycle AP activities and resolve any challenging invoice, PO, or reconciliations issues. This is the perfect role for someone who loves troubleshooting, has an analytical mindset, and has experience with 2-way and 3-way matching.

Responsibilities:

• Working on full-cycle AP including invoice validation, coding, processing, and reconciliations
• 2-way and 3-way matching
• Troubleshooting any PO, pricing, coding, tax issues
• Maintaining AP queues - following up on any aging or stalled workflows
• Assisting with month-end and year-end tasks including reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
• Managing AP dashboards and KPIs
• Being the technical escalation resource for AP matters
• Resolving employee expense and policy issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on working experience in accounts payable and financial operations
• Post-secondary education in finance and accounting
• Working experience with 2-way and 3-way matching, PO processing, GR/IR, and reconciliations
• Working experience with SAP (or similar ERP)
• Able to understand AP dashboards and KPIs
• Proven experience troubleshooting automated invoice workflows and transactions
