Senior Associate Opportunity (Business Consultancy Firm)

Location : North York - Hybrid Role

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000 + discretionary bonus + 3 weeks vacation + benefits package + CPA coverage

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Communicating with clients and their teams on day-to-day financial matters
• Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing work of junior associates
• Regular review of client books of account
• Preliminary work on personal tax preparations
• Preliminary work on corporate year-end preparations
• Preparation of cash flow projections
• Cash management
• Contract reviews
• Preparation and review of GST / HST reconciliation and filing
• Review of source deduction reconciliations and remittances
• T4 / T5 reconciliations and data compilation
• Royalty tracking
• Budget preparation
• Budget vs. actual report generation and analysis
• Spot audits of tour settlements
• Tour float reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable administration
• Subsidy preparations
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in corporate accounting
• CPA designation or actively pursuing
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of ASPE and ITA
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and QBO is an asset
• Self-motivated and organized
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
