Senior Accountant PositionWe are seeking a talented and dedicated addition to our team with experience and skills in full cycle accounting. We are a small but close-knit team striving to create an enthusiastic and connected work experience. We place high value on accountability and personal performance. We operate as a TEAM in all aspects.The Senior Accountant Role will oversee all accounting functions and reporting for ?full cycle? review, as well as oversee the staff accountant position. The candidate best suited for this role has a diligent and accountable work ethic and will ensure all accounting principles for GAAP are followed. This role has access to sensitive and confidential information for our group of companies as well as the Franchisees within the brand chain.This role is full time, based on a 40-hr work week, and will report to the COO.Full Cycle accounting includes· Various daily/weekly/mthly accounting entries,· Cashflow monitoring and forecasting· AP, AR processing· Bank account and Credit Card reconciliations· Payroll preparation and processing· Preparation of Monthly Schedules for Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations· GST/PST/HST calculations and reporting preparation for filing· Monthly Financials preparation for group of companies· Ad fund budgets and forecasting preparation and annual financials reporting· Supervision of the staff accountant position for studio accounting and payroll· AB Blue Cross plan administration and billing· Preparation of year end financial working papers and schedules· Other duties as assignedRequirements· Bookkeeping and/or General accounting experience ? preferably 5+ years· Experience in full cycle accounting ? preferably 2+ years· Training and certification for Senior level accounting· Knowledge and experience with SAGE300 ERP is a strong asset· Advanced knowledge of Excel· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of WORDSalary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year dependent on skill and qualifications.We appreciate all application submissions, and we will directly contact only those candidates eligible for interview.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
