Our approach is hands-on, modern, and tailored ? with a strong focus on value and client experience.*The Role*We?re looking for a Senior Accountant who can take ownership of client work in either corporate tax or full-cycle accounting ? and who?s eager to grow into the other side. Whether your strength is in tax or corporate accounting, we expect there will be a learning curve ? and we?ll support you in building the other side of your skill set.Responsibilities:* Preparing Canadian corporate tax returns and assisting with compilation engagements* Filing HST/QST returns and handling Canadian indirect tax compliance* Assistance in preparing U.S. sales tax filings and performing multi-state analysis (training available)* Running month-end closes for multi-entity and multi-currency clients* Client communication and coordination, especially during busy seasons* Reconciliation work (bank, payment processors, inter-company), including in USD* Participating in workflow improvement and tech-driven processes*What You Bring** CPA designation (or near completion)* Strong experience in either corporate tax or full-cycle accounting* Comfort with cloud accounting tools (QBO, Xero, Wagepoint, etc.)* Clear communicator with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset* Willingness to dive into new areas ? we don?t expect you to know everything on day one, but we do expect curiosity, initiative, and follow-through* Based in the Greater Toronto Area ? this is a remote role, but occasional in-person meetings or collaboration may be needed*What You Get** Full-time remote work with local flexibility* Exposure to complex and rewarding client work* Direct access to the firm owner and an opportunity to grow with the practice* A no-bureaucracy environment that values results and autonomy* Competitive compensation with room to scale your roleIf you're strong on one side and curious about the other ? this is your opportunity.*Please do not call the office directly.
