Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Account Executive to join our team at our Burlington, VT office to service the local area. This role is ideal for an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and has a proven track record of success. You will have the opportunity to significantly impact our sales strategy and contribute to our growth.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage existing relationships with local business owners and C-level executives in the greater Burlington area through face-to-face contact.
  • Prospect for new business and foster relationships with new customers.
  • Articulate CCI's products effectively to prospects and pre-qualify opportunities.
  • Document sales activities in CCI's CRM system accurately.
  • Follow the sales process and fulfill responsibilities as defined.
  • Achieve sales quotas set by the Sales Manager.
  • Be prompt for prospect and company meetings.
  • Maintain professional appearance and be well-prepared for engagements.
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily.
  • Proven experience engaging business owners or C-level executives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Dynamic, adaptable, proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation and sales persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Valid State Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of telecommunications, cable, directory sales, or technology sales experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Work in a general office environment, primarily on a computer.
  • Travel as required by the business.
