Job summary

Paladin Security Group is seeking a Site Supervisor for a North York, Toronto area facility to lead daily security operations, ensure safety standards, and serve as the main contact for routine inquiries and emergencies. You will supervise guards, conduct interior and exterior patrols, de-escalate incidents, provide first aid, assist visitors, process reports, and coordinate with emergency services.

A valid First Aid & CPR Level C, MOAB/UOF certifications, and 1 year supervisory experience are

Qualifications

• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
• MOAB and Use of Force certifications, or willingness to complete Paladin training.
• 1 year of security supervisory experience.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities and performance of security guards at the facility.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify concerns, breaches, and hazards.
• De-escalate incidents, respond to alarms or emergencies, and liaise with police, fire and paramedics.
• Provide first aid and emergency medical response when required.
• Assist visitors and employees with a customer‑service approach.
• Manage lost and found inquiries and property handling.
• Write incident reports and complete tasks from security leadership and client management.

Job description

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00

Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Site Overview

Located in North York, this facility requires dedicated security oversight to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. As the Site Supervisor, you will lead daily site security operations, maintain property safety standards, and act as a reliable point of contact for routine inquiries and emergency responses.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise the daily activities and job performance of security guards assigned to the facility.
• Conduct proactive interior and exterior patrols to identify facility concerns, policy breaches, and safety hazards.
• De-escalate incidents, respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, and liaise with emergency services including police, fire, and paramedic teams.
• Provide first aid and emergency medical response when required.
• Assist visitors and employees with a strong customer service approach.
• Manage lost and found inquiries and property handling.
• Write clear incident reports and complete tasks assigned by the security leadership team and client management.

Must Haves

• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
• At least 1 year of security supervisory experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), or willingness to complete Paladin's training program prior to onboarding.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
