Job summary

Paladin Security Group is seeking a Casual Security Guard to support multiple client locations across the region. This role offers dynamic daily safety operations, visitor assistance, and adherence to security standards at various facilities.

You will conduct patrols, greet guests, and monitor access systems, with shifts that vary by site. Prior security experience is preferred, and the company provides training, benefits, and a focus on professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas to maintain safety and security.
• Greet employees, visitors, and guests at designated entrances.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and manage access control systems from the control room.
• Perform parking enforcement duties as required by the client site.
• Perform additional security guard duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $18.70 per hour (or depending on site)

Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement (AA) calculated after 88 hours

Site Overview

This casual position supports various client locations across the region. Working across these sites provides a dynamic environment where you will support daily safety operations, assist visitors, and ensure security standards are maintained across different facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

Must Haves

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous security guard experience.
• Post-secondary education in a Law Enforcement or Security program from a recognized college.
