Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a security professional to protect guests and property in Banff national park area. The role requires emergency first aid, loss prevention, fire safety and guest service. You will perform patrols, respond to medical and fire calls, and coordinate with police, fire and EMS.

Qualifications

• Advanced Level II/Emergency Medical Responder first aid and Level C CPR certification required or obtainable
• Law and Security Administration diploma or related program, or minimum of 5 years security experience
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
• Valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean abstract (max 4 demerits)

Responsibilities

• Perform property patrols observing, reporting, and correcting safety and security deficiencies
• Respond to medical emergencies and fire calls with basic first aid and/or CPR
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial statutes and regulations and enforcement of corporate policies and procedures
• Assist outside agencies as outlined in hotel policy (police, fire, ambulance)
