Job summary

Sunshine Village Corporation is seeking Overnight Security Personnel for the winter season in Banff, AB. The role focuses on protecting guests, staff, and resort premises with vigilant monitoring, reporting, and emergency response after hours.

Responsibilities include managing access, de-escalation, incident reporting, and occasional snow removal, all while maintaining professional conduct in a remote alpine setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving record and Class 5 Licence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Positive attitude and calm under pressure with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest experience and de-escalate situations when needed.
• Monitor access and perform checks across ski area leasehold and staff areas.
• Coordinate after-hours emergency response and respond to alarms appropriately.
• Generate timely reports and formal documents for investigations or enforcement.
• Assist with outdoor snow removal and support other departments as required.
