Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking Full-Time Security Guards and Mobile Patrol Drivers for our Courtenay portfolio in Canada. Roles involve customer-focused service, reporting, patrols, and emergency response across multiple sites.

Candidates should have a BC Security Licence, BC Driver's Licence for Mobile Patrol, and 6 months of relevant experience or customer service. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Class 5 or Class 7N BC Driver's Licence (Mobile Patrol).
• 6 months security experience and/or 6 months customer service experience is an asset.
• Basic First Aid (OFA Level 1) or higher is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good physical fitness - ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients, tenants, and the public.
• Write clear, detailed reports (incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports).
• Watch for and report irregularities such as security breaches, safety hazards, and emergencies - and contact emergency responders when needed.
• Provide first aid and medical response when required.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of people, property, and equipment.
• Use phone and computer applications to communicate site activity.

We're currently accepting applications for Full-Time Security Guards and Mobile Patrol Drivers to join our Courtenay portfolio! This is a great opportunity to work at a variety of sites and be part of a supportive, professional team. If you're people-smart, customer-focused, and enjoy staying active, this could be the perfect fit for you! The role can be physically active and may require availability to work mornings, days, nights, and/or weekends. Schedules and timings vary by assignment - with various fixed/permanent full time roles available, as well as opportunities for casual or part-time work if desired.

Wage

$19.49-$22.53 per hour (assigned by job)

Training Wage: $19.00

What You'll Be Doing?
