Job Description

Title: Security Guard - Team Lead

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Payrate: $20.40 per hour.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1500-2300

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Winnipeg site. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work the mentioned shift, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirement:

• One year of experience as a guard role in a retail environment.
• Prior supervisory experience is an asset.
• Must be 25yrs for insurance purposes
• Must have Use of Force training.
• Must have a valid (full) provincial drivers license.
• Must have a valid first aid
• Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
• Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
• Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner.
• Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
