Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking Container Terminal Security Officers to work with port-related and logistics services in Canada. The role emphasizes vigilance, adherence to protocols, and safeguarding confidential information.

Responsibilities include patrolling the facility, monitoring CCTV and access controls, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter secured areas, while producing detailed incident reports and complying with Marine Transportation Security Regulations.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain Transportation Security Clearance per Marine Transportation Security Clearance Program.
• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Basic First Aid or willingness to obtain.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Background checks and security clearances required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving under pressure.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods.

• Anticipating and addressing inquiries, hazards, obstacles, and traffic concerns
• Static and mobile patrolling the facility regularly
• Ensuring authorized entry to secure areas only
• Writing detailed incident reports
• Complying with the Marine Transportation Security Regulations
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to maintain site integrity and security
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panels

• Security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License.
