Paladin Security is seeking a dedicated Industrial Security Officer in Merritt, BC. You will manage access control, patrol the site, and respond proactively to risks, ensuring safety and efficiency with every shift.

Required certifications include BC Security Licence, OFA 3, and a BC Class 5 Driver's Licence. The role emphasizes exemplary customer service and professional presentation in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict control of all access points; ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
• Verifying access cards and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Conducting regular patrols of the site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity or security breaches.
• Staying vigilant and alert at all times; anticipate risks and respond proactively.
• Open and close access gates promptly to ensure smooth operations without compromising security.

• Hold a valid BC Security License


• Hold a valid Advanced First Aid (OFA Level 3) certification.

• Are eligible to work in Canada for full time.


• Have prior experience which Is considered an asset.
