Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to support safety and security operations at the Ashcroft Terminal site. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in high‑compliance environments.

You will monitor access points, verify cards, and conduct regular patrols to detect hazards or breaches while remaining vigilant and professional.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Basic First Aid Training or willing to obtain.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute to the work site.
• Experience with access control systems and CCTV.
• Ability to pass background and site-specific clearances.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and working outdoors.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
• Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
• Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
• Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.
