Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security & Fire Systems Technician in Canada to perform installation, integration, commissioning and service on access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems. You will install equipment, coordinate field activities, and ensure adherence to safety and project specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma, tech field training, and 3+ years in related systems installation/service; OT and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school diploma in electronics or computers preferred.
• 3+ years experience with installation and service of access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems.
• Install and inspect equipment per manufacturer specs; coordinate field activities and training on new installations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment; prepare reports and support customer satisfaction.
