Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician to install, integrate, commission, and service advanced security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and intercoms. Responsibilities include field programming, troubleshooting, and providing clear system documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or trade school graduate; a technical degree in electronics or computers is preferred.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install and inspect equipment, meeting manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate field activities for programming, integrations, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot field wiring issues.
• Advise customers on optimal solutions to restore systems.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and issues.
• Prepare comprehensive daily activity and system performance reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a culture of integrity and safety.
• Operate in confined spaces and at heights with proper safety gear.
• Collaborate with team to deliver integrated solutions.
