Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a skilled Controls Technician to join our Canada team. On-site, you will perform maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building control systems, delivering outstanding service and clear documentation.

With 4+ years in HVAC controls troubleshooting and a technical degree, you will consult with customers, propose upgrades, mentor others, and uphold safety standards in a growing North American operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Vocational school or associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience servicing electronic or mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building control systems.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through on-site interface and clear documentation.
• Propose field retrofits/upgrades and provide technical recommendations to sales leads.
