Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Security Control Room Operator in Calgary, Alberta. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while monitoring access, alarms, and surveillance systems across office towers, hotels, and malls.

The position is full-time with uniforms provided, GardaWorld Academy backed education, and flexible shifts. A valid Alberta Security License and 1 year of control room experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a control room/dispatch or similar role.
• Authorization to work in Canada and Alberta security license required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Monitor alarms, investigate alerts, and escalate incidents.
• Conduct routine patrols and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain incident reports and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone and assist visitors.
