Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking a dedicated Security Agent to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. This full-time, permanent role begins in October 2026 and offers progressions with time-based pay increases.

The successful candidate will perform patrols, incident reporting, and guest assistance to maintain a secure and welcoming hotel environment. Required qualifications include security and hospitality experience, BC BST license, Class 5 driver’s license, and OFA Level 2 First

Qualifications

• Previous security/hospitality experience is required.
• OFA Level 2 First Aid Certification required.
• Class 5 Drivers License is required.
• Possess a valid British Columbia BST License

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests, employees and property premises
• Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy, occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations
• Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way

Job Description

Security Agent

You ensure the safety and wellbeing of your fellow employees, guests and visitors. You are attentive, efficient and committed, and will ensure your property remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting October 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay

$23.30 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $29.20.

Job Duties Include
