Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. invites applications for a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver in Charlottetown, PEI. You will join our Dispatch team to deliver propane safely to residential and commercial customers, supporting operations during peak seasons.

The role requires a valid Class 3 DZ license, at least 3 years of commercial driving experience, a clean CVOR, and the ability to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading propane in all weather. Shifts vary, with some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane, adhering to all Company and Government regulations.
• Work with dispatch to develop routes using knowledge of geography and customer needs.
• Deliver product to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and related paperwork.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with company and government policies and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions.
• Work schedule will vary; may include evenings and weekends.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Job Summary:

As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a Seasonal role, with an immediate start date and a target end date late march.
