Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team in Ottawa, delivering propane safely to residential and commercial customers. You will follow routes, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with company and government regulations.

This seasonal role requires a Class 3DZ license, 3+ years of driving, and ability to work various shifts outdoors in different weather conditions. Background checks may apply and accommodations are available upon request.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3DZ Commercial Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / driving record within company standards.
• Able to perform physical loading/unloading of propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane safely and compliantly.
• Plan routes with dispatch using knowledge of local geography.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and related paperwork.
• Report hazards to dispatch and ensure policy compliance.
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing safety discussions.
• Work schedule may include evenings and/or weekends.

Job Summary: As a SeasonalPropane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:
