Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team in delivering propane to residential and commercial customers across our service area. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and customer service in a fast-paced field environment.

You will load, transport, and unload propane, follow scheduled routes, and perform daily safety inspections. The position requires a valid Class 3DZ license, 3+ years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to

• Valid Class 3DZ Commercial Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / driving record within company standards.
• Able to perform the physical tasks of loading/unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane trucks following company and government regulations.
• Plan routes with dispatch using geography and customer needs.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Report potential hazards to dispatch and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions; adapt to varying schedules including evenings/weekends.

Job Summary: As a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
