Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver’s license with Air (Code 15).
• Meets company standards for driving record and physical demands of loading/unloading propane.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane from truck following regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch using knowledge of geography and customer needs.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete paperwork.
• Report hazards to dispatch and ensure compliance with policies.

Job Summary

As a Class 3 Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Commercial Driver’s license with Air (Code 15)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Meets Company standards for a commercial driving record, as demonstrated by a satisfactory commercial driver’s abstract
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
