Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. in Fort McMurray, Alberta is seeking a Class 3 DZ Propane Delivery Driver to join our dispatch team delivering propane safely to residential and commercial customers.

This is a seasonal role with an anticipated end date of March 25, 2027, requiring flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You must have a valid Class 3 DZ license, at least 3 years of commercial driving experience, and a clean CVOR/personal driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Job Summary

As a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.
