Avenir Energy is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join the Dispatch team. You will deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, following safety regulations and routing plans to meet customer needs.

This seasonal role requires a valid Class 3DZ CDL, at least 3 years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to load/unload propane in all weather conditions. The position may require evenings or weekends.

Formación

• Requires valid Class 3DZ CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience delivering propane is required.
• Ability to perform physical loading/unloading of propane.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload propane safely in accordance with regulations.
• Plan routes with Dispatch using geographic knowledge and customer needs.
• Deliver to residential and commercial customers in a safe, efficient manner.
• Complete daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Report hazards to Dispatch and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and adapt to varying schedules (evenings/weekends).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

As a SeasonalPropane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset.
• Ability to work various shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a Seasonal role, with an immediate start date and a target end date of late march.
