Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team and ensure safe delivery to residential and commercial customers. You will work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment, delivering propane and supporting daily logistics.

The role requires a Class 3 DZ license, a minimum of 3 years driving experience, and the ability to perform physically demanding loading/unloading tasks. Seasonal schedule may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch based on geography and customer needs.
• Deliver product to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and required paperwork; report hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions; adapt to varying schedules, including evenings/weekends.

Job Summary

As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork requiredReport any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver's license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a Seasonal role, with an immediate start date and a target end date of late march.
