Job summary

Pursuit is seeking a line cook for a full-time seasonal role in Calgary, Alberta. The starting wage is $21.00/hour, with a focus on hospitality and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

You will handle food preparation, cooking, and plating, following recipes and health codes, and supporting the Sous and Head Chefs. A criminal record check is required; Food Safe certification is a plus. Join our team for a dynamic guest experience.

Qualifications

• Provide hospitality through careful food preparation and interaction with guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment as directed.
• Prepare, season and cook items per recipes and health codes.
• Consent to criminal record check is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and cleaning of kitchen areas and storage facilities.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables.
• Clean and cut meats, fish and poultry.
• Prepare and cook soups, salads, meats, fish, gravies and vegetables.
• Stock and maintain product levels as directed by Sous Chef and Head Chef.
• Complete prep work, dishwashing and garbage/recycling duties as required.
• Communicate observations to team and management.
