Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking casual, temporary staff to support the Christmas Kettle Campaign in Canada. You will greet donors, handle donations with care, and communicate program information across a mall setting. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and split shifts as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 12 kg. Training and accommodations are provided to support a successful placement.

Qualifications

• Completed High School or equivalent.
• Related experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift 9 to 12 kg (20–25 lbs).
• Strong customer service and positive presentation required.

Responsibilities

• Remain at the Kettle for the full shift and ensure security of donations.
• Respond to donor questions about SA ministries and programs.
• Present a positive image and represent TSA while on duty.
• Work with minimal supervision and comply with all Salvation Army policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
