Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a temporary casual relief worker for the Christmas Kettle Campaign, based in malls/stores across Canada. You will greet donors, answer questions about ministries, ensure secure handling of donations, and maintain a professional image while working with minimal supervision.

Required is high school completion; related experience is an asset. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and there is potential for variable hours during the campaign.

• Completed High School or equivalent.
• Related experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Remain at the Kettle for the full shift and ensure security of donations.
• Respond to questions from donors regarding TSA ministries and programs.
• Present a positive image and represent TSA professionally while on duty.
• Work with minimal supervision and comply with TSA policies and procedures.
• Collect donations and petty cash and keep donations secure.
• Wear Salvation Army identification and be flexible with shifts including days, evenings, weekends.
