Job summary

Rogers Place is seeking a Sportsnet Club Server for the seasonal, part-time on-site role in Edmonton. You will take food and beverage orders and deliver items to guests, ensuring prompt, friendly service.

Ideal candidates have prior food service experience, valid Food Handler and ProServe certificates, and are able to lift heavy items and stand through shifts. Evening and weekend availability is required to cover arena events.

Qualifications

• You have previous experience in the food services industry.
• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• ProServe certificate required.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards; follow up to assist with needs.
• Advise guests on menu items and pairings; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct orders and accommodate special requests.
• Address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisor.
• Ensure dining room is set up and maintained; keep area clean and sanitary.
• Work with cross-department staff during special events.
