Blue Mountain Resort is seeking a Seasonal Bar Attendant to prepare and serve beverages, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure seamless shift transitions. You will handle guest orders via the POS, maintain cash deposits, and stay knowledgeable about menus and promotions to elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve certification required.
• Able to work weekends.
• Team player with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to bar patrons and provide beverage service from the service bar to bar servers and dining room servers.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the bar and complete prep/cleanup tasks for shift transitions.
• Process guest orders accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cash-out deposits and reconcile transactions; review end-of-shift reporting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beverages, menus, and promos to assist guests.
• Monitor inventory, maintain par stocks, and submit replenishment orders.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing by checking IDs for guests under 25.
• Prepare cocktails and draft beer to standard; engage guests with product recommendations.
