Job summary

Richmond Christian School is seeking an IT Administrator to lead day-to-day technical operations, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and escalated end-user support across all campuses. You will be the senior technical escalation point (Tier 3) and oversee the IT Technician, reporting to the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of IT systems administration or infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Proficiency with network infrastructure including firewalls and switches.
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and iOS endpoint management.
• Commitment to Richmond Christian School’s Christian mission.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus-wide network infrastructure, including wireless, switches, servers, firewalls and internet connectivity.
• Ensure high availability and performance of core IT systems across campuses.
• Manage infrastructure planning, upgrades and implementation with the IT Manager.
• Monitor system health, performance and capacity; address issues proactively.
• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems (Intune and JAMF).
• Maintain endpoint compliance and security configurations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 A5 environment and Entra ID, including MFA and SSO.
• Oversee user provisioning, licensing, permissions and access controls.
• Implement cybersecurity strategy and respond to incidents; maintain endpoint protection.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and operations; provide after-hours support as needed.
