Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator in Oshawa, ON. This role focuses on matching patients with appropriate field staff, building care schedules, and maintaining accurate data in the system while delivering professional, empathetic service to clients and families.

Evening and night shifts are included, with full-time permanent status and opportunities for career growth within a nationally recognized home health care provider.

Qualifications

• One year administrative or office experience is an asset.
• Scheduling experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills are required.
• Superior customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate staff to patients based on factors including times suggested by patients, staff availability and relevant skill sets.
• Build a care schedule for patients.
• Enter and update employee and patient data within the computerized system.
• Respond professionally to calls and electronic communications from funders, staff, patients, and families.
• Document and report all staff and patient interactions.
