Job summary

Valero Energy Inc. is headquartered in Montreal, leading the supply logistics for Eastern Canada.

The incumbent will coordinate gasoline, distillate and ethanol supply activities across Ontario and Chatham terminals, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal use of pipelines, rail and trucking networks. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related, logistic or engineering.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Strong Excel & SAP knowledge.
• Bilingual French and English.
• Experience in petroleum industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply logistics across multiple terminals in Eastern Canada.
• Manage gasoline/distillate and ethanol supply activities and inventories.
• Plan and optimize transportation (pipeline, rail, trucking) to terminals.
• Prepare product demand forecasts and logistics requirements.
• Coordinate resolution of third‑party supply issues.
• Maintain integrity of supply agreements and volume contracts.
• Ensure product quality management at Maitland/Chatham and resolve issues.
• Coordinate pipeline transportation appointments and deliveries.
• Review and analyze sales data.
• Complete invoicing and monthly reconciliation tasks.
• Act as backup for Product Schedulers.

Role

Reporting to the Manager, Supply Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the supply logistics of various terminals in Eastern Canada.

Responsabilities

• Manage gasoline/distillate supply activities and inventories at the Ontario and Chatham terminals
• Manage ethanol supply activities and Inventories at various terminals
• Plan and optimize the use of available means of transportation (pipeline, rail, trucking) to supply the Ontario and Chatham terminals
• Prepare product demand forecasts and logistics requirements
• Coordinate the resolution of third‑party supply issues
• Maintain the integrity of supply agreements and volume contracts with third parties
• Ensure product quality management at Maitland/Chatham and lead efforts to resolve quality issues as required
• Coordinate all demands for pipeline transportation appointments, schedule all product movements and ensure proper execution of deliveries
• Review and analyze sales data.
• Complete administrative tasks related to invoicing and monthly reconciliation of invoices payable
• Act as backup for the Product Schedulers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (business related, logistic or engineering)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written)
• Experience in petroleum industry, a strong asset
• Strong Excel & SAP / SAP BW knowledge, an asset
• Strong team player
