Job summary

Valero Energy Inc. is seeking a Loading Rack Attendant to manage tanker loading via the Toptech system. You will access loading racks, coordinate with operations, issue loading cards, and update accounts while reconciling volumes at day end.

The role requires a Diploma of college studies, 3–5 years of office experience, strong English skills, and good computer knowledge. Rotating 12-hour shifts, days and nights, weekends included.

Qualifications

• Diploma of college studies or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in office work is preferred.
• Very good knowledge of English for daily interactions with unilingual Anglophones.
• Good knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows) required.
• Must show initiative and strong communication skills.
• 12-hour shifts, days and nights, with rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Toptech loading activities system and manage access to loading racks.
• Coordinate opening/closing of loading positions with operations.
• Issue loading cards and verify driver training compliance.
• Update client accounts and products as needed; reconcile volumes at day end.
• Verify documents for accuracy, especially product quality in sales.
• Assist terminal operators to ensure safety and procedures are followed.

Role

As a Loading Rack Attendant, you will perform various administrative tasks related to tanker truck access to the loading racks and the administration of the loading operations management system (Toptech)

Responsabilities

Perform the required operations in the Toptech loading activities operating system:

• Arrange the operating system so that users can access loading at all times;
• Follow up with the operation department concerning the opening and closing of loading positions, as required;
• Issue loading cards and determine whether drivers have received the required training;
• Issue various updates of client accounts, products, etc.;
• Do various reconciliations of sold and end-of-day volumes;
• Check documents for accuracy, particularly for the quality of products sold when a problem arises;
• Assist terminal operators using the operation system for various work and to determine whether users are following safety regulations and operational procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma of college studies or equivalent experience;
• 3 to 5 years’ of relevant experience (office work)
• Very good knowledge of English (daily exchanges with unilingual Anglophones);
• Good knowledge of computers (Microsoft system);
• Initiative and good communication skills;
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts alternating from days to nights.

Work Schedule

• Rotating schedule consisting of 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends.
