Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Scale Clerk to join our team from Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required. You will operate the scale system, document weights, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency with scale software and Microsoft Office. CAD26.25/hr base pay plus overtime after 44 hours; join AIM’s dynamic, growth-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale system to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing metal materials.
• Record weights and relevant information in the computer system or on paper records.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, weights, material types, and customer information.
• Verify identification and documentation of drivers, carriers, and vehicles while issuing receipts and processing payments.
• Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems.
