Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Québec seeks a scale clerk to track material receipts and shipments, weigh materials, produce weigh tickets, and respond to customers. Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at our site in Québec, with a role focused on accuracy and courteous service.

You will weigh trucks, enter data, prepare shipping documents, answer calls, and support general office tasks. A prior similar role is helpful; strong MS Office skills and customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office and general office software.
• Organized, responsible, independent and resourceful.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service upon arrival.
• Weigh trucks and enter information into the system.
• Prepare delivery slips and shipping documents in the software.
• Answer phone calls and redirect requests as needed.
• Track material shipments and produce required reports.
• Perform general office tasks (opening customer accounts, filing, billing, etc.).

Job Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in our site of Québec, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As a Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking material receipts and shipments. You will weigh materials, produce weigh tickets, and respond appropriately to customers.
