Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is a family-owned company and a global leader in metal recycling, with over 125 sites and 4,000 employees. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Québec site as Scale Clerk, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weighing materials and handling shipments.

You will greet customers, weigh trucks, prepare delivery documents, and manage office tasks. Strong MS Office skills, organization, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Organized, responsible, independent and resourceful.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service upon arrival.
• Weigh trucks and enter information into the system.
• Prepare delivery slips and shipping documents in the software.
• Answer phone calls and redirect requests as needed.
• Track material shipments and produce required reports.
• Perform general office tasks (opening customer accounts, filing, billing, etc.).

Job Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team inour site of Québec, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:0 p.m.As aScale Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking material receipts and shipments. You will weigh materials, produce weigh tickets, and respond appropriately to customers.

Whatyou’reresponsible for:

• Greeting customers and providingcourteous service upon arrival;

• Preparingdelivery slips and shipping documents in the software;
• Answering phone calls and redirecting requests as needed;
• Tracking material shipments and producingrequired reports;

Qualifications
