Software International (SI) is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst - SAP for a 6-month contract in downtown Toronto, with hybrid work (2-3 days onsite). The role supports an SAP upgrade and requires on-site presence in Toronto.

You will gather business requirements, design data mappings, and work with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to deliver accurate reporting solutions. You will validate reports, define KPIs in Power BI, and support UAT and governance.

Experience gathering and documenting business requirements for finance and operations reporting.
Ability to define KPIs, data elements, and data lineage for reporting solutions.
Experience validating reports with stakeholders and ensuring data accuracy.

Responsabilités

Gather and document business requirements for Finance and Operations reporting, ensuring clarity on KPIs, metrics, and key data elements.
Build requirement documents and transformation logic to guide development teams, with a focus on data accuracy and lineage.
Create mock-ups and sample reports to validate reporting needs with stakeholders before implementation.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
Support user acceptance testing and maintain KPI definitions/documentation for long-term governance and consistency.
Analyze data patterns and perform data analysis using SQL; create data mappings from source to target.
Define KPIs in Power BI and specify data sources needed by developers in requirement/mapping documents.
Validate reports by querying data sources, running SQL, and verifying DAX logic.
