Job summary

HRbrain Inc. seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to work with business users, IT teams and vendors to evaluate information systems and define requirement specifications. You will analyze processes, propose remedies, and ensure clear communication of requirements across stakeholders.

The role demands 10+ years of experience, 7+ years BA, SDLC knowledge, and a hands-on approach to change management and production support. Hybrid work includes 2 days in office in Toronto.

• Knowledgeable in SDLC

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze business requirements (new, change requests and production support)
• Coordinate the preparation of user specifications with business users
• Identify gaps and propose feasible solutions prior to implementation
• Conduct impact analysis on application changes to ensure appropriate solutions
• Apply change management principles to deliver solutions
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT delivery team on requirements and issues
• Assist in project scoping and requirements, and implementation
• Assist in developing user acceptance test strategy and scope
• Continuously improve business processes
• Provide production systems support for business units as needed
• Assist in process documentation and analysis
• Provide guidance and coaching to other business analysts
