Job Overview:

The Sanitation Supervisor leads sanitation operations, including auditing, HACCP, food safety, GMP programs, and the implementation of sanitation procedures. This role supervises sanitation hourly employees across three shifts and coordinates with other departments to ensure sanitation standards are met according to GNG sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee performance, safety, quality, documentation, and cost efficiency of sanitation operations, reporting any issues to the Production Manager.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Control to maintain high sanitation standards for safe food processing.
• Work with Maintenance to address maintenance issues affecting sanitation and plant safety.
• Coordinate department activities, including training staff and scheduling labor shifts.
• Manage supplies, chemicals, and equipment necessary for sanitation tasks.
• Recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and safety issues.
• Document performance metrics such as labor hours, on-time delivery, training, errors, and productivity.
• Motivate and lead a diverse team towards continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in sanitation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly.
