Job Overview:

The Senior Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily plant sanitation operations and staff, supporting quality and sanitation improvements, managing chemicals, maintaining sanitation equipment, and implementing sanitation procedures in line with company policies.

This is a full-time, permanent role, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote safety, GMP, and food safety policies and procedures, supporting company needs.
  2. Monitor equipment condition through scheduled maintenance and inspections, issuing Non-Compliance notices as needed.
  3. Provide leadership and coaching to the sanitation team, including training, performance management, and disciplinary actions if necessary.
  4. Conduct regular plant inspections to ensure sanitation, housekeeping, and readiness for production.
  5. Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency and profitability.
Recipe for Success:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in sanitation.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling systems.
  • Experience with change initiatives and improvement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and JHSC standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Hands-on work ethic with problem-solving skills, discipline, and consistency.
