About the opportunity:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations, conducts root cause analysis, ensures safety, meets targets, manages resources, leads continuous improvements, and coordinates scheduling and services to meet production goals.

The attributes we are looking for:

• Support production teams to meet operational and quality measures, including costs, productivity, safety, GMP, sanitation, customer satisfaction, and staffing. Promote excellence in quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
• Lead health and safety initiatives, ensure safety protocols are followed, and address hazards and unsafe behaviors.
• Supervise staff by providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities. Maintain positive labor relations and compliance with applicable laws and agreements.
• Ensure GMP and SOP adherence, product specifications, and sanitation standards for efficient production.
• Participate in developing and monitoring operational and capital budgets, safety, training, and production plans, supporting corrective actions as needed.

What you will bring:

• College diploma or University degree in Food Science or Engineering preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in food production, preferably in dairy or related industries. HACCP knowledge is a plus.
• Certifications in WCB/WISB, OSHA, First Aid are assets.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and other business systems.
