Job summary

Steve Madden Canada is seeking energetic Sales Associates for our Richmond store. You’ll welcome customers with confidence, provide personalized service, and share strong product knowledge to guide fashion choices.

Stay current with new arrivals and promotions, build genuine connections, and help drive sales while maintaining a runway-ready store. You’ll support merchandise flow, stock, and a positive, brand-oriented atmosphere with every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales within a trendsetting fashion brand.
• Completed education in Fashion and/or retail management (asset).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date on new arrivals, promotions, campaigns, and must-have styles to confidently inspire customers and help them discover their next obsession.

• Keep the store runway-ready by supporting floor sets, merchandising updates, displays, and daily stock replenishment.
• Process shipments, replenish inventory, organize stock, and ensure best-selling styles are easy to shop.
• Follow company policies, pricing standards, procedures, and loss prevention practices to maintain a safe, successful store environment.
• Make checkout memorable by accurately processing transactions and leaving customers with a positive last impression.
• Be a brand ambassador by showing up with confidence, positivity, and Steve Madden attitude in every interaction.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, move, and unpack merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stay active and on your feet for extended periods (approximately 6-8 hours per shift).
• Able to safely use ladders up to 10 feet in height to keep the sales floor looking its absolute best.

Education, Experience and Skills Required

• Experience in retail sales within a trendsetting fashion brand.
