Job summary

Steve Madden Canada is seeking Sales Associates to join our teams in the Metro Vancouver area. You’ll welcome customers, provide personalized service, and help shoppers find the perfect look while delivering memorable experiences.

Ideal candidates have experience in fashion retail, strong English communication, and a passion for trends. You’ll contribute to visual merchandising, process shipments, handle transactions, and maintain an energetic store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales within a trendsetting fashion brand.
• Completed education in Fashion and/or retail management (asset).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date on new arrivals, promotions, campaigns, and must-have styles so you can confidently inspire customers and help them discover their next obsession.
• Create genuine customer connections, act as a trusted style guide, and help drive results through exceptional service and a passion for fashion.
• Support floor sets, merchandising updates, displays, and daily store recovery to ensure every corner of the store reflects the Steve Madden brand.
• Process shipments, replenish inventory, organize stock, and keep our best-selling styles available and easy to shop.
• Follow company policies, pricing standards, operational procedures, and loss prevention practices to support a safe and successful store environment.
• Accurately process transactions, handle cash responsibly, and send customers off with a smile and a great last impression.
• Whether it's supporting teammates, taking on a special project, or helping during a busy rush, you're always ready to do what it takes to keep the store thriving.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift, move, and unpack merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stay active and on your feet for extended periods (approximately 6-8 hours per shift).
• Able to safely use ladders up to 10 feet in height to keep the sales floor looking its absolute best.

Education, Experience and Skills Required

• Experience in retail sales within a trendsetting fashion brand.
