Job summary

Matix Lumber Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join our team. This role supports our sales representatives and customers by processing orders, quotes and invoices, and delivering exceptional service.

You will collaborate with purchasing, logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries, maintain relationships with customers, and assist with store opening and closing tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administration (experience in building materials or lumber industry an asset).
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale or ERP systems. Bistrack knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills. Self-Motivated.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude and strong team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the sales team in meeting and exceeding annual sales goals.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the sales team.
• Enter and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately.
• Assisting in maintaining and developing relationships with customers.
• Communicate with customers regarding orders, delivery times, and product inquiries.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle incoming calls and emails professionally and promptly.
• Assisting with tasks related to store opening and closing.
